Regarding the ALFA Bear Proof garbage Containers:

Please be advised that we have recently completed installing the second wave on the ALFA in ground containers, or as we call them "bear proof garbage cans", within the City of Dryden. They have proven to be robust, well built, esthetically pleasing and appreciated by the public. I have received no complaints about the units. To my knowledge there has been only one occasion where a bear had attempted and was unsuccessful in gaining access to the ALFA unit. They have been installed from the Parks grounds to the Boat ramps to Skateboard parks throughout the City. I am very pleased with the product. I anticipate placing additional units within the city in 2007.
